Searching for some frontierville players around the net I have found something interesting. It seems that there is a bug going on frontierville that everytime you log out from the game you will lose food. Please be aware check your game and see if you are getting this bug, here is what our player is telling:
I read about this randomly in an unrelated thread and though, must just be you, then I checked it myself-
So I log into my game and I have 129,124 in food. I then harvest 10 egg plants and get 4 food each, for a total of 40 food. I know this because I clicked each piece of pie to make sure I was getting 4 each. I did complete the schoolhouse mission that guaranteed me more food per crop, so here is where they “take” that extra food back.
OK, now I log out with 129,164 in food. That’s with the 40 I got from the egg plant totaled in, it all looks correct so far. I logged back in and find I now have 129,154 in food, 10 missing. That makes sense, 10 pieces missing, I had harvested 10 egg plants so they took back 1 piece per crop.
Thinking I need to double check it I do the exact same thing, harvest only 10 egg plants, log out and back in. Yep, missing 10 more food.
So then WHY did they have us complete the school house lessons, promising more food per crop only to then take that back each time we log out? Did they think we would NEVER notice.
I figure I harvest on average 100 crops per day (that’s a low ball figure but whatever). That’s 100 food each day taken back from me. I completed those lessons at least 5 months ago? So I’m estimating that I am owed at least 15K in food.
Can others please help me by testing this out too? I’d like to know if it’s an across the board issue. I do plan on bringing this to the attention of CS as it appears to be a glitch that needs to be fixed so we can earn our food and finish out the canning missions.

I have lost close to a 1000 food today – been checking before and after each log in – might as well be doing the canning mission at this rate.
